Shelbyville High School is excited to announce Kyle Shipp as Assistant Athletic Director. Kyle has spent the last eight years as Whiteland’s Girls Varsity Basketball Coach where he also taught physical education. Prior to his time at Whiteland Kyle spent two years as the Athletic Director at Owen Valley High School, was at Shelbyville High school for four years as the dean of attendance, a teacher and a coach (football and baseball). He also spent time at Clarksville Middle School teaching physical education.
Kyle graduated from Whiteland High School where he was a three sport standout in football, basketball and baseball. He then went on to play two years of football at the University of St. Francis before heading to IUPUI to earn a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Physical Education with a minor in Health Education and Drivers Education.
Kyle is married to Amy Shipp and they have three children, son Braiden (18) and daughters Charlie (5) and Dylan (3).
