Gymnastics Opens the 2021 Season

The Shelbyville Gymnastics Team opened its season Monday Night at Girls Inc. by hosting Richmond and Fishers.  The girls were defeated by Richmond 101 to 87.  Kaliyah Brown finished 2nd in the overall with a score of 32.025, while winning the Vault with a score of 8.95.  Renee Aldridge finished 5th in the overall with

9th Grade Boys Hoops Defeat Franklin

The 9th Grade Boys Basketball Team defeated Franklin on Monday Night 43-21.  The young Golden Bears move to 5-3 on the year and will travel to Greenfield-Central on Jan. 23, 2021 with the game starting at 11am. 9 Hoops putting this one on 🧊 Shelbyville up BIG in the 4th over Franklin. — Kyle Shipp

Information for Girls Basketball at Rushville

Admission:  $5 at gate.  PARENTS ONLY!  Parents will be checked off of roster at the gate when they pay (2 per participant). Athlete Spotlight Name: Chayce Collier Son of: Millard and Jamie Collier Brothers: Micah Lee, Damion and Jacey Collier  Chayce participates in wrestling at Shelbyville High School.  Chayce loves to watch sports on TV or even attend them in person.  His favorite candy is sour skittles and his favorite holiday is Christmas because everyone is happy.

Wrestling Team Wins Rushville Invite

The Wrestling Team won the Rushville Invite on Saturday by beating Shenandoah 48-27 and the host Rushville 58-18.  Lux, Collier, and Linville all had pin wins on the day.  The Golden Bears move to 14-11 on the year.  The Team will compete in the HHC Tournament this Saturday at New Castle with wrestling starting at

Wrestling Team Defeated by Triton Central

The Wrestling Team hosted Triton Central on Thursday for Senior Night. In a tremendous match that came down to the last match the Bears were defeated 41-39. Berry and Jones won by Pin. The Golden Bears would like to thank all the seniors and what they have done for the program.

Boys Basketball Defeated by Greensburg

The Boys Basketball Team traveled to Greensburg on Saturday.  The Golden Bears trailed 14-10 after 1 and 33-31 at the half.  Shelbyville took the lead by 1 after 3 by a score of 45-44, but was finally defeated by a final score of 62-57.  Shelbyville produced three players that scored in double figures with Bunton
