Shelbyville High School

Shelbyville HS cross country teams competed very well on Saturday Oct 10 at a new meet, the Franklin Community Short Course Invite, a 3k preview of what will be our Sectionals Course next weekend. The boys finished 3rd of 7 complete teams, the girls finished 3rd of 5 complete teams after tying Perry Meridian for 2nd and falling after the 6th runner tie breaker. Both teams looked very strong, despite the fact that none have raced a 3k XC race since middle school, and for some, it's been 4 years. Medals (top 10): America Leon, 2nd (11:22 - 3k) Macey Robbins, 5th (11:30) Harper Kinsey, 10th (12:49) Shia Veach, 2nd (9:05) Eden Ortega, 9th (9:44) Full Results: https://mwt.live/meets/78903 Next up, Sectionals, back at Franklin Community!
