The varsity contest was only played because of lightning delays. While we ended up losing 2-1 the team showed toughness. Levy Luciano won a penalty with 3 seconds to go in the half, which Rolando Saucedo converted to level the score. Alex Norman, Mylez Clark, and Saucedo led a stout defense that made chances difficult for the Grizzly Cubs. Richard Lira and Brant Davis put in excellent work to control the midfield. Corbin Martin made some key saves in his varsity start as a keeper.
