Shelbyville High School

The Lady Bears took to the track for the final time this season at Warren Central High School. The 4x800, 4x100, and 4x400 relays all finished in scoring position. The 4x800 of Aerin Garcia, Avery Keller, Daisy Barrett, and Cora Flynn took 7th (12:21.92), the 4x100 of Emma Claxton, Chevelle Prather, Ava Ruschhaput, and Brooke Byers took 6th (57.55), and the 4x400 of Garcia, Byers, Claxton, and Kinsley Kirschbaum took 7th in a huge season-best time by nearly 4 seconds (4:52.48). Hannah Wright took 7th in a gutsy 3200m performance with a time of 13:06.93. Only 3 of our girls that competed tonight are seniors, so we are looking forward to returning with even more experience next year and a strong group of incoming freshmen.
